Mr. Brown believes in and has implemented strengths-based organizational leadership and management the approaches –especially those being mentored by the Gallup organization.

(Mr. Brown’s 5 strengths as measured ten years ago by the Gallup version 1 of the Clifton Strengthsfinder tool were Learner, Achiever, Relator, Ideation and Input. His top 5 in order as measured more recently by version 2 tool in order of prominence are Relator, Strategic, Achiever, Ideation, Futuristic. Gallup believes that combining results from the two versions of the tests, if they differ as to several strengths, reveal strengths within the top 10 strengths of the test taker.)

As to technology . . .

To often, technology strategies are chosen or remain static because of the comfort-zone capabilities of local or organizational talent. Mr. Brown is able to discern proper technology choices apart from his technology expertise, and then has the ability to find efficient resources for implementation of best-strategies.

Almost always, there is a case for discarding many comfortable old-model technology tools for newer connected “anytime, anywhere, on any device” technologies.

Some of the newest tools are secure, intuitive, extremely cost effective, and flexible. And often the most powerful tools can have no license fee –Google’s suite of business tools and WordPress’s website generation tools are good examples.

Small businesses are becoming targeted beneficiaries of the technological innovations of the last several years. On most projects, Mr. Brown may himself be able to perform desired technology renovations. In these situations, Mr. Brown shines as an effective, innovative and cost-conscious project manager.

Individual technology workers often point organizations to employ technologies they know and are comfortable with.  This dynamic is significant and very often causes organizations to invest in poorly targeted tools.   Mr. Brown thrives on research and is a studied and independent voice –experienced and comfortable recommending which technologies best address an organizational reality. When it comes to implementing a solution in which he is not trained, he is very experienced in getting it implemented efficiently nonetheless.

Some examples of solutions available include: transitioning in-house email servers to free Google app for domains mail service, transitioning corporate file storage “to the cloud” to save costs on file server management, transitioning Office suite software to “cloud-based” solutions to save on licensing costs (ex. Google Docs), publishing the corporation on the internet via various new means in light of internet enabled small/smart technology devices and social networking media like Facebook, etc.

As to structures/training and product development . . .

• Mr. Brown has lead implementation of international business structuring strategies with the help of respected attorneys/accountants with whom ASI has no financial connection in ways that dramatically lowered the time and difficulty of managing international legal and accounting structures.
• He has led the creation of a unique and highly respected training methodology which dramatically impacted student success and employer satisfaction; (see historical reference here). On the basis of this success, Mr. Brown was asked for innovative consultative support on new and important initiatives from national and international corporations including consulting on the creation of Microsoft’s Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certification and the Field Certified Professional Association’s industry certification renovation efforts.
• He has conceived of and matured numerous business product offerings.
• He has created systems which lead to enhanced organizational systemic or technological efficiencies; and
• He has assisted in facilitating better management of many business or organizational ventures, (especially those relating to technology).
